Best Ace Hardware

We’ve been into numerous places for a civic key, and without help. I called ton, spoke to a Charlie ( who was extremely helpful and friendly) he got us connected to Niko, who makes keys. This dude went above and beyond!! It’s so hard to find a place with decent customer service, and find people who enjoy working with the public. Both of these gentlemen like their jobs & are extremely professional and go above and beyond! I highly recommend ace

This Best Ace is located in Long Neck and advertises its large paint department and garden center. I use this store exclusively for several reasons: the staff is always welcoming, helpful, and friendly and seem to know their regulars well; I can always find what I'm looking for, either on my own or with a little help; their mailed coupons regularly give me at least $5 off my purchases. Sometimes I can get a larger discount with a larger purchase, as most stores offer. Highly recommend you try them if you are in the area.

I have walked into this place many times. Sometimes, it appears there are more employees than customers. Not once has anyone of these employees attempted to ask me if you need help. They simply conduct their daily functions as if you are not here. Ace hardware is known for helping you but not here. If you ask them a question, you will get this 'deer in the headlight look'. The other day I attempted to buy some exterior house paint. An ace employee with his cart was blocking the aisle . He made no attempt to allow me to pass by. I then walked around the store to get to the other side of the paint aisle. I then asked this employee to show me where the exterior paint was located. He directed me to one aisle over. To my surprise, not only did he send me to the wrong location of the store but their exterior paint was simply located where I had originally asked for his help. Needless to say, I attempted to leave the store but my aisle was again blocked with his cart - and his presence was not found. The only place in this store, where you will find a smile is at the cash register. I guess they are happy to take your money.

I love Ace Hardware at Long Neck. Everyone is helpful, but especially helpful and knowledgeable is employee, Corky. He's cheerful, fun, smart -- so helpful. I needed certain size drill bit and screws and he searched until we found the perfect ones.

Not a lot of hardware stores down here and slower Delaware so it's great that just four miles up the road there's an Ace hardware. It's very well-stocked and manned by very helpful, nice staff. Recommended
